The physical demands and high cognitive and emotional load inherent in the teaching profession contribute to ever increasing attrition rates for teachers and administrators. Post-pandemic learning loss continues to plague grades K-6.  With the recent AI advancements, educational leaders are seeking frameworks for the adoption of safe and responsible AI in the classroom. Teachers are increasingly using AI tools with limited if any guidance and/or training.  Additionally, teachers are also increasingly tethered to their devices to deliver instructional content, which can isolate them from their students.

Merlyn provides teachers with an in-class AI assistant to help manage their technology so teachers can do what they do best: build strong relationships with their students and provide faster-paced, more engaging content that is appropriate for the academic, behavioral, social, emotional, and cultural needs of each of their students.  Merlyn also supports school districts in the creation and implementation of safe and responsible AI policy and solutions and AI assisted pedagogical practice for the classroom.
